Meagan Perkins is Your Partner in HR’s Compliance Practice Leader and HR Consultant bringing extensive experience in human resources, people management, operations, customer service and leadership. She helps organizations strengthen HR practices, align people strategies with business goals, and foster positive, inclusive workplace cultures.

Before joining YPHR, Meagan built her expertise as a people manager in operations, primarily in hospitality and small business sectors and is no stranger to “wearing many hats.” Since then, she has supported a diverse client base across manufacturing, nonprofit, real estate management, restoration, automotive, healthcare and retail industries, with a continued focus on learning and development, inclusion, and practical HR solutions.

In 2026, Meagan became YPHR’s Compliance Practice Leader, helping federal contractors and subcontractors meet requirements under Title VII, EEO, VEVRAA, Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Equal Pay Act, and affirmative action obligations for protected veterans and individuals with disabilities. She also supports clients with federal and state data collection and filing requirements, including EEO-1, California Pay Data, VETS-4212, and other state-mandated affirmative action and compensation data reporting.

Professional Development

Meagan studied at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island, where she graduated with honors, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Foodservice Management and an Associate of Fine Arts in Culinary Arts. With more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality sector, she brings a practical, service-oriented perspective to her HR work. She became a SHRM-CP certified HR professional in 2024.

When not supporting clients, Meagan has a team of her own! As a mother of three boys, she enjoys all things “Cleveland” sports related. Meagan lives in the Old Brooklyn neighborhood of Cleveland and enjoys backyard BBQ’s, spending time in her garden, volunteering in the community and of course, Lake Erie!
