Mark Robinson is an experienced senior Human Resources leader with an extensive background building HR teams and processes while serving as a strategic partner to business executives. He has worked in several large Cleveland-area companies, honing his expertise in the design and implementation of succession planning, performance management and talent management processes. Additionally, Mark has led compliance and acquisition-related operations including due diligence and integration of acquired employees into parent company culture.
While Mark’s early career focused on US-based organizations, he has two decades of experience in global businesses, supporting international client groups in Europe, LATAM, APAC, India and Canada. Much of that experience involved integrating people, processes and systems into the culture of a larger, parent company.
Mark’s career passions are labor relations, compliance, employee relations and employee engagement. He is experienced in driving collective bargaining strategy and has served as first chair in several labor contract negotiations. He believes in connecting employee engagement and HR process improvement to increase employee satisfaction to help organizations remain union-free.
Personal & Professional Development
Mark is a graduate of Penn State University and holds a Master of Labor and Human Resources from Ohio State University. He obtained certification in Executive Coaching from Case Western Reserve University.
Mark and his wife raised their family in the Cleveland area. When not at work, he enjoys bicycling, weight training and alternative music. He is the alumni advisor for his undergraduate fraternity and has volunteered with several Cleveland organizations.
