For over 25 years Jennifer has represented employers in labor and employment law. She was one of the first attorneys in Ohio to be certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a Specialist in Labor and Employment Law. Jennifer is a Partner in the law firm of Petronzio Schneier Co., LPA.

Jennifer has successfully represented businesses in employment and labor law matters in federal, state and appellate courts, as well as appearing regularly before federal and state administrative agencies such as the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services, the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and Ohio’s Bureau of Workers’ Compensation.

Other aspects of her work include:

  • Providing daily advice and legal opinions to clients on day-to-day employment matters
  • Drafting employment contracts and non-compete agreements

  • HR & compliance training for management

  • Developing policies and employee handbooks

  • Conducting comprehensive audits of all employment practices

Education & Speaking Engagements

Jennifer completed her Bachelor of Science at Eastern Michigan University and her Juris Doctorate at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Jennifer is also proud to be an OSBA Certified Specialist in Labor & Employment Law.

Jennifer is a regular presenter to area business and community groups, speaking on various aspects of employment law for HR professionals and small business owners. Groups include several area Chambers of Commerce and Rotary groups, and Cleveland, Medina, and Lake/Geauga County SHRM Chapters.  She is a regular presenter for various continuing education providers (both HR and legal credit) and has been a part of the teaching staff for the PHR/SPHR prep courses.

Jennifer conducts training for supervisors, business owners and HR professionals in conjunction with Your Partner in HR and is a panel presenter at YPHR’s annual Business Briefing. Ms. Corso has also been a presenter at several of the COSE Small Business Conferences.
